Our staff is supported with latest available computers, software, and survey equipment to help us complete high quality projects in a timely manner. HCE remains at the forefront of CAD and three-dimensional modeling technology. Field data can be directly entered into our CAD design files. We have an extensive array of software to assist in design calculations and drawing preparation. Our road designs are a good example of 3-D technology use - allowing clients to "view" the completed plan prior to construction.

Trimble® SX10 3-D Scanning Total Station is a scanning station that is capable The use of High-Definition Scanning (HDS) on projects has a number of benefits, including foremost, the ability to safely collect data in areas too dangerous or confined to physically occupy. In addition, HDS provides real-time data enabling direct measurement between objects in the field with the ability to evaluate additional data and measurements at any time without revisiting the site.

Speed, accuracy, and quantity of data collected are other benefits of laser scanning technology. Our scanners can collect up to 26,000 points per second. Every point that is collected has a true coordinate position that accurately represents the true as-built condition in a 3-D format.
